Mark Gogulski

Mitchell was a great guy to know and better to have as a cousin. Hearing about his passing hurt me deeply as I remembered times spent with him; on the farm, wondering when he was getting back from the Army, restoring that old pick-up and him teaching me to turn a wrench. I'll never forget him taking me to Riverside Park to see the races or the time he introduced me to my first two quarts of Budwiser. I would bump into him from time to time and it was like I had just seen him the day before, even after moving to Florida. Back in June of '09 I sent him my father's polka collection that I new he wanted. I also sent him a bunch of pictures of the family that my father had taken over the years. A couple of weeks later I got a letter from Mitch, this is what he had to say: " The pictures are priceless, I never before knew the good times they had all throughout their lives. Now I can relax knowing now they all lead their last years with enjoyment and relaxing." Mitchell set a great example for me growing up and I am so relieved that sending him those pictures meant that much to him. That he could now relax and not worry that his parents worked so hard while raising a family and didn't get to enjoy themselves! The ultimate example of a selfless person, Mitchell will be missed more than you can imagine. See you on the other side, Mitch.
