The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of William Kuras can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

North Grand St.

When I was about 10, 11, 12, our family lived with the Kuras family on North Grand St.. Billy's father had a little welding business going in the newly built garage out back. Making frames for tobacco baskets I believe.

I remember Billy and his friends shooting the clays right off the hill in back of the house. I always thought it was so cool. Archery was also another sport they practiced at. I remember seeing them return after bird hunting, with the quail, and pheasants etc. Although Billy was older then me, I believe I still saw him as a great influence. Can't believe tho, that was nearly 50 years ago. I'm sure of course that during this time he had long forgotten about my family. But I have always remembered him & those good times growing up there on North Grand St. Thanks Billy.

Sincerely, Mike Arnold Sr.
