It has been many years since I last saw Chris. I knew her only as a teenager when I first met her and for 5-6 years after. As the girlfriend of her brother, Robert, I was welcomed into the home of Floyd and Lena and shared some time with Chris who was her tall, lanky, not yet mature self. Robert and I married, later parted ways, lost touch and then reconnected years later, older and wiser people. We have been friends since then and I get updates on his family whenever we get together. It was sad to hear of her sudden passing. Having lost my own younger sister nearly three years ago in similar circumstances, my heart just breaks for her family left behind. My condolences to them all.
