Ronald H. Zukowski, 65, of Glendale, AZ, formally of Suffield, husband of Dorothy Zukowski passed away at home on December 17, 2011 with his family by his side. Ronny was a retired U.S. Air force Veteran, having served in Vietnam and retired after 22 years of honorable service. Ron was a member and former commander of the Landry Sic Post 9544 VFW of Suffield. He was also a member of the Holy Name Society of St. Joseph Church of Suffield. Ronald is survived by his son James Zukowski of AZ, and daughter Renee Zukowski of AZ and brother Michael Zukowski of Somers, CT. He was predeceased by his parents Henry Zukowski Sr. and Bernice (Szoka) Zukowski, and brother Henry Zukowski Jr. Funeral services will by private with military honors. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with services.
