Jane (Cardello) Gozzo, lovingly called “Toots”, of Suffield, wife of the late James V. Gozzo, passed away July 11, 2011. She was born in Hartford, the daughter of the late Joseph and Maryann (D’Onofrio) Cardello, and lived in Suffield the last 30 years. Jane worked at the Emhart Corporation as a bookkeeper for over 15 years. She enjoyed teaching catechism at Christ the King Church in Bloomfield, and was a supporter of The Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art. She was an avid Bridge player with the Suffield Senior Center and a communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Suffield. Jane leaves five children, James and his wife Terry Gozzo of Porterville, CA; Salvatore and his wife Elizabeth Gozzo of Rocky Hill, William Gozzo of West Suffield, Deborah Gozzo of Newport, RI; and Mary Jane Callender of Suffield. Nine grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Jane was predeceased by four sisters and one brothers.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, July 15, at Scared Heart Church at 11 AM, 446 Mountain Road Suffield, burial will follow in Mount St. Benedict Cemetery in Bloomfield. In lieu of Flowers memorial donations may be made to the Suffield Senior Center, 68 Bridge Street, Suffield, CT 06078
