Marguerite (Phelps) Faas, 80, of Suffield, wife of the late Paul D. Faas, died Monday September 26, 2005 at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford. She was born in Farmington the daughter of the late Dwight and Guinhild (Andersen) Faas and lived in Bloomfield for 30 years and West Suffield the last 25 years. Marguerite was employed for many years at the Connecticut General Insurance Company. She was a long time member of the West Suffield Congregational Church and the West Suffield Grange. Marguerite enjoyed music, gardening, and her pets, but most of all spending time with ther loving grandchildren, Allison, Stephanie and Jonathan Landry and Nicholas and Zachary Faas. Besides her grandchildren she is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law Paul and Lori Faas of Bloomfield and John Faas of Windsor; a daughter and son-in-law Eileen and Donald Landry of Suffield; a sister, Eileen Phelps of Bloomfield,. The memorial services wil be Friday, September 30 at 1:00 PM at the West Suffield Congregational Church, 1408 Mountain Road, West Suffield. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. The Heritage Funeral Home, West Suffield has care of the arrangements.
