I vividly remember Hank spending hours with me on Lake Congamond trying to teach me how to water ski. I was a young teenager, so self-conscious and awkward - not at all athletic. He patiently circled around to start over and over and over every time I crashed dived. It was such a triumph when I finally stayed up on those skis, and I'll be forever grateful to Hank for making me feel worth the effort and helping me achieve a new skill of which I could be proud.
