Nancy Stoddard 80, of Suffield died February 14, 2013 at Hartford Hospital after a long battle with CHF. Nancy was born in Covina, CA on September 30, 1932 to the late Warner and Frances (Evans) Seal and had resided in Suffield for the last 40 years. Nancy was a bus driver for over 35 for the towns of East Granby and Suffield and for Suffield Academy. She was an accomplished knitter and an avid horsewoman in her earlier years. She was a member of a mounted drill team that performed in many parades in CA. She also rode on many trail rides through Death Valley, CA. She rode a bicycle up the coast of CA and enjoyed motorcycling through New England and Canada. She had been a drummer for the Springfield Kiltie Band. Nancy is survived by 3 children - Margaret and her husband Mike Wingate of AZ: Janet and her husband Terrence Mish of Southwick MA ; David Krohn and his wife Maria of CA and 2 grandchildren Alexandra and Conrad Mish. One brother William Seal and his wife Linda in CA. Funeral services will be private and internment will be in CA. Heritage Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
