I just thought of Carol today some 44 years (1978) after I met her when we were covering meetings in East Granby CT for competing newspapers: She for the Hartford Courant and I for the afternoon Valley Press, an offshoot of the Bristol Press , with an office on Route 10 in Simsbury. We bonded as colleagues and exchanged jokes as we dealt with what we thought were ridiculous discussions by the Board of Education. (We got punchy with fatigue when meeting=s stretched well past midnight) We once got so boisterous, the Board of Ed stopped their meeting to censor us. We tried to take it seriously, but both got such a case of the giggles we had to leave the building . She was fun enough that I still can hear her voice and laugh all these years later. Rest in peace, dear Carol. Blessings, Rev. Thomas W. Caruso Harrisburg PA

carol was my cousin; her mother and my father were brother and sister. carol and I were close as teenagers; she was sweet, smart, cute, a real good dancer and a lot of fun! I was in her wedding when she married Peter. We lost tract of each other, life got in the way, but I often thought of how she was doing and did she become a reporter - her teenage dream. I was heart broken to find out just now that she has passed. Rest in peace Carol. Tina Galey Pasierb

My sincerest sympathies-Carol was so proud of her kids and would tell me every time we met at the university over the 30 plus years
