A Memorial Service to celebrate the life of Lucille Vanags, 67, of Crane Lakes in Port Orange, Florida, formerly of Suffield and East Granby, CT, who entered into her rest on the morning of November 4, 2008, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 22, at the Heritage Funeral Home, 1240 Mountain Road, Suffield, CT, with Pastor Robert Branconnier officiating. Lucy was born on December 17, 1940 to the late George and Daisy Hunninghacker in Boston, Massachusetts. Lucy leaves to cherish her memory, her devoted husband of 47 years, Gunar; two loving children and their spouses, Shirley & Brad Stelma and Alan & Diane Vanags; five treasured grandchildren, Danielle, Matthew, Katelynn, Meredith and Ryan and her dear sister, Doris Clark of South Hadley, MA. We are each pleased to keep her memory in our hearts. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made in honor of Lucy to your local Hospice.
