Tom’s life on earth ended on February 20, 2017 at the age of 85. He was born to parents Thomas and Orilla (Brooks) Sheridan and was one of seven children. He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Marjorie (Biernacki) Sheridan, his son Thomas III and his wife Linda and their children Thomas IV, Nathan and Emily, his daughter Kathleen Sheridan and her husband Kevin Parrish and their children James and Grace, and his son Mark and his wife Sharon. He was predeceased by his sisters Kathryn Jenks and Mary Hastings. He is survived by his brothers and their wives, Donald and Jane, James and Eleanor, Daniel and Maureen all of West Suffield, CT and William and Barbara of Hampstead, NC.

Tom was heard to say many times how much he appreciated the life he had and the good fortune that brought so many things his way. He loved his family above all else and having Marge by his side was best of all. He joined the Army in 1951 during the Korean War and was very proud of have served with the 82nd Airborne. He worked at Hamilton Standard for 31 years and retired at age 55 as General Forman, Overhaul & Repair. He lived in West Suffield all of his life and loved his home on Ratley Road and the neighbors who were so good to him and his family. He loved America with all its freedoms and opportunities available to him throughout his life. He believed our Second Amendment should remain as written and he supported the N.R.A. in its effort to keep it that way.

The Funeral Service will be on Saturday February 25, at 12 Noon, at The Heritage Funeral Home 1240 Mountain Road, West Suffield, CT. Calling Hours will be from 10AM-12(Noon) prior to the funeral home service.

Friends and Family are invited to attend the Graveside Service with Military Honors, Saturday, June 24 at 9:00 AM in West Suffield Cemetery, Mountain Road.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Emergency Aid Association, 450 South Street, Suffield, Connecticut 06078.
