Obituary for Michael J. "Chip" Baldgya

Michael J. "Chip" Baldgya
Michael ‘Chip’ J. Baldgya, of West Suffield, passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at a local nursing home.
Chip was a proud U.S. Vietnam Veteran, and received a purple heart. He was a member of the VFW Landry SIC Post 9544, Suffield. He loved fishing, guns, cars, and always knew where to find good food.

Chip was kind and generous; a beloved brother, uncle and devoted friend. He was affectionately known as ‘bad uncle’ to his nieces and nephews whom he adored and treasured; especially Ricky Bober, “take good care of what I left you”.

A special thanks to the West Haven VA, Masonic Care and Hebrew Home for all their wonderful care, including Doc Kope for his care.

Funeral Services are private. Heritage Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements, 1240 Mountain Road, West Suffield. On-line condolences please visit: www.SuffieldFuneralHome.com
