Condolence: Elaine was my first flight instructor in the early 1970's. Even though she was so young, she proved to be an excellent teacher and proud of all her students! I will never forget the day I soloed - we were practicing together and she abruptly told me to taxi back to the office. I thought something was wrong, but she then jumped out and told me to do three touch and go's and then come back. I had no time to be nervous! When I taxied back, Elaine was waiting for me on the ramp and was jumping up and down, clapping and smiling !!! She definitely made flying fun for me and many others who were lucky enough to have flown with her. I have many fond memories of our times together, certainly not to be forgotten. Like many others, I will miss Elaine - sorry that I can never sit down with her and reminisce about the "old days". But we all have our cherished memories.

My sincere condolences to Elaine's family and indeed to all of us who were lucky enough to have been touched by her friendship, compassion and enthusiasm during her too short life.

Rest in Peace, my dear friend. You will be missed.

Condolence: Elaine & I met in the 1990's when we were both hired to work for a short-lived airline. We were both excited to return to aviation, and hit it off immediately.
We became fast friends during training, and remained friends through the years.

Elaine continually aimed higher and reached farther;in her career,in continuing her education,in serving the town of Suffield & later, the people of Connecticut.

A few things I will miss about Elaine:
Her pride in her large, wonderful family, and her love of the Red Sox.
Her self-deprecating sense of humor.
That steely-eyed gaze that she used to excellent effect. (If you were subjected to it,you know the one.)
Her smile,that giggle.

Most of all I will miss her friendship.
Elaine was the best and most loyal of friends.I miss that we will not be able to grow old together.
Peace be with you.

Condolence: We had the pleasure of working with Elaine for many years in the Town Clerks Office and we were so saddened to hear of her passing. She was quite a lady and we will remember that devilish spark in her eyes, endless sense of humor and infectious laugh.

Condolence: Elaine's service to her community, and state spanned well over 20 years and she accomplished so much in the time she was with us. She helped so many organizations and individuals in her public and private life. Her energy was boundless and even during her illness she continued to work for us all. She had so much love for her family, her friends, her town, her state and her country. We all will need to carry on her commitment to make a difference in the lives of others.
She was a true public servant.
Farewell dear friend...you left an imprint on all our hearts.
