Obituary for Darla J. Tkacz (Adams)

Darla J. (Adams) Tkacz, beloved wife of Edward J. Tkacz, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, February 17, 2014 in the presences of her husband and eldest son, William. Born on June 16, 1950 in Springfield, MA; daughter of the late Helen and Russell Adams. She lived in Suffield most all her life. Darla was an incredibly loving mother who, when not working in various positions in the customer service industry, dedicated the majority of her life and time to raising and caring for her four children. She also very much loved tending to her flower gardens and decorating her home.
Besides her husband Edward, she is survived by her children, William Tkacz of Suffield; Tina Shiveley and her husband Scott of Southwick, MA; Joseph Tkacz and his wife Angela of East Windsor and granddaughter Sunny Rose; two sisters Jannise Adams of Windsor Locks, and Karen Adams of Chicopee, MA. She was predeceased by her son John Tkacz of Suffield; and two sisters and two brothers.
Funeral Services will be on Friday, February 21 at 7pm The Heritage Funeral Home 1240 Mountain Road, West Suffield. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-7pm prior to the funeral service. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Attention: Development Department; 5005 Lyndon B. Johnson Freeway, Suite 250, Dallas, TX 75244.
