Henry F. Rapacki, 93, of Suffield, passed away Saturday, June 30, peacefully in his sleep. He was born in Suffield, on October 10, 1918, son of the late Anastasia “Stephen” Rapacki and Sabina (Bogdanski) Rapacki, and lived in Suffield all his life. He retired from Northern Tool Company in 1982, and enjoyed a long retirement. He was a member of St. Joseph Church, Suffield, and a member of the St. Joseph’s Holy Name Society. Henry enjoyed many hours playing golf with his friends and family. Henry was predeceased by his loving wife of 57 years Angela (Grondalski) Rapacki. He is survived by two daughters Susan Frazer of Roslindale, MA and Carolyn Sherman of Ellicott City, MD. One sister Theresa Rapacki of Palm Springs, FL. Four grandchildren Meghan Frazer, Allison Frazer, Andrew Sherman, and Abigail Sherman. He was predeceased by three brothers Edward, Frank and John Rapacki, and two sisters Pauline Bonczek and Marion Simmons. Funeral Services will be Friday July 6, at 9AM from The Heritage Funeral Home 1240 Mountain Road, West Suffield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Church at 10 AM. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery Suffield. Friends may call to The Heritage Funeral Home on Thursday July 5, from 6-8 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Suffield Emergency Aid Association 450 South Street Suffield, CT 06078.
