Anna (Golon) Tkacz. 99, lifelong resident of Suffield, wife of the late Edward Tkacz passed away on February 8, 2012, in the comfort of her home with her family by her side. Born on October 23, 1912, daughter of the late Julius and Frances (Kozon) Golon. Anna was one of 11 children. She was a communicant of St. Joseph Church in Suffield. Anna is survived by her son, Edward Tkacz Jr. and his wife Darla of Suffield, one brother Frank and his wife Mary Golon of East Granby, 11 grandchildren including her very special and caring granddaughter Joan Smith of Wethersfield, CT; 14 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. Anna was predeceased by 2 daughters Francis Dziengelewski and Evelyn Glynn, 6 brothers Edward, Phil, William, Joseph, Steve, Julian and 3 sisters Vicky Potter, Jane Sasali, and Helen Kulas. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Church 140 Main St. Suffield, on Monday, February 13, at 10AM. Family and friends may call to the Heritage Funeral Home 1240 Mountain Road, West Suffield, on Sunday Feb. 12, from 3-6PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Suffield Emergency Aid, 450 South Street, Suffield, CT 06078.
