Elaine (Alexopoulos) Ford, 71, of Suffield, wife of Paul Ford Sr., passed away Friday (December 10 2010) at Baystate Medical Center. She was born the daughter of the late Gustave and Irene (Danos) Alexopoulos and lived in Suffield all of her life. Elaine was a Communicant of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Enfield. She was a member of Suffield senior center. Elaine enjoyed many hours oil painting and arts and crafts. She loved spending time at the beach with her daughters and enjoyed being with her grand children. Besides her husband Paul she is survived by a son Paul Jr. and Barbara Ford of Enfield, two daughters Pamela and James Sheridan Jr. of West Suffield, Laurie Ford and Edward Markowski Jr. of West Suffield, a brother Michael Alexopoulos Sr. of Suffield, a sister Lillian Kane of East Longmeadow MA, five grand children James III, Justin Sheridan, Holly Markowski, Nikolis and Alexis Ford. Elaine was pre deceased by a son Howard. Funeral services will be Tuesday (December 14), at 11 a.m. at the Heritage Funeral Home 1240 Mountain Rd. West Suffield, Burial will be in the Thompsonville Cemetery. Friends may call at the Heritage Funeral Home on Tuesday (December 14) from 9 - 11 a.m.
