Robert F. Wilson, 57, of Suffield wife of Louisa C. Wilson passed on December 27, 2017. Robert was born on August 26, 1960 son of the late Fred and Mary Ann (Williams) Wilson.

Robert was a U.S. Army Veteran and retired from the U.S. Air National Guard after 26 years of dedicated fulltime worldwide service. After his retirement he opened and operated Cartridge World, Suffield.

Robert loved the great outdoors, hiking, walking, maintaining his gardens and landscaping around the pool. He thoroughly enjoyed fly fishing with his brother Mark. He was extremely handy and knew how to fix and repair most anything. He was an active father leading cub scouts, and coaching his children’s sports teams. While running his business he was a member of the Suffield Chamber of Commerce.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 25 years, Louisa (Cannon) Wilson; and three children, Morgan and Bessie Wilson all of Suffield, and Nichole Wilson and her partner Tony Pagano of Stafford; a brother Mark Wilson and his wife Chris of Bellingham, WA.

Calling Hours will be on Friday, January 5, from 4:00-7:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home, 1240 Mountain Road, West Suffield. Burial with military honors will be at the convenience of the family.
