After a beautiful wedding at the Nordic Lodge on Passquisset Pond; Annie, James, and son Paul moved to a home across the lake from the Nordic. In 1972 James Eric Reay was born. Paul and “Eric” had many years of fun and laughter as they grew up together on the lake.
After Annie and James were married and moved on the lake. She worked at the Nordic taking on many jobs but one in particular was a Baker, she mastered making Pastries, Cakes, and Cookies for the great Nordic meals. She was able to show off her extraordinary Norwegian recipes, as well.
Annie was fortunate to have such a paradise on the lake, as she would be outside most times working in her rock gardens and always cleaning up for the next group of folks coming for a Sauna. Often you could hear Jim singing and playing one of the many instruments he loved. Annie loved to knit and sew, she made numerous Norwegian sweaters for many people and even newborns and little tikes.
