Brian Thomas Winter, 65, of West Suffield, passed away peacefully at home Sunday, December 6, 2015. Born in Springfield, MA; on December 6, 1950, son of Robert and Annamae (Clark) Winter, and lived in Suffield most of his life, but was a former resident of Granby where he raised his two children.

Brian was employed with the Town of Granby Public Works & Highway Department. He enjoyed spending time with his children, beloved grandson Liam and many great friends and family. Brian also loved making people laugh and smile, and truly cherished the simple things in life. Brian had professional culinary training and loved to cook. His favorite part of his daily routine was watching his favorite TV shows with his many friends.

He is survived by a daughter Emily Winter and her significant other Matthew Makaravits of Suffield; a son Steven Winter of Agawam, MA; beloved sister Ann and her husband John DiLorenzo; two brothers David 'Joe' and his Wife Deborah Winter, Robert 'Bob' and his wife Deborah Winter all of Suffield; one Grandson Liam Makaravitz, many nieces and nephews, and his best friends Dick Patterson, John Cooper, and Frank and Elaine Bauchiero who always took such good care of him.

He was predeceased by his former wife Debra Fearon Winter, and his faithful companion Maxine 'Tippy' Winter, that he went nowhere without.

The Funeral Services will be on Friday, December 11, at 10 AM at the Heritage Funeral Home, 1240 Mountain Road, West Suffield. Burial will follow in Zion Hill Cemetery, Hill Street, Suffield. Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Thursday, December 10, from 4-7PM.
