Obituary for Arnold Howard Gould

Arnold Howard Gould of West Suffield, CT and Orient, ME Passed away January 21, 2015 in West Suffield as a result of Spindle Cell Cancer.
Arnold was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church, Suffield, CT and St. Anne's Church, Danforth, ME. Born in Houlton, ME, October 15th, 1930, son of Willis (Bill) Leroy Gould and Florence (Morris) Gould.

Arnold served in the USAF from 1952 to 1956 as a sergeant prior to being employed by the aeronautical industry in Maine and Connecticut for several years. He retired from Maple Hill Farms of Bloomfield, CT 1993.

He and his wife enjoyed retirement by summering at East Grand Lake in Orient, Maine and wintering in West Suffield, Connecticut.

Arnold is survived by his daughter Katherine Conley and her husband Patrick Conley, two granddaughters CariAnn Conley and Christen Spradlin and her husband James Spradling, two great grandchildren Julianne and Jameson Spradlin, sisters-in-law Bernadette Neal and Leanne Toner and a brother-in-law Norval (Jack) Toner, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Arnold was predeceased by his parents, his wife Iris (Toner) Gould of 51 years, his brother Eugene Gould and his brothers-in-law Edward and Darrell Toner, Kenneth Neal, and two sisters-in-law Ruth and Shirley Toner.

Calling Hours are Friday, Jan. 23 from 4-7pm at The Heritage Funeral Home, 1240 Mountain Road, West Suffield, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, Jan. 24 at 10AM at Sacred Heart Church, Suffield, CT; with a reception to follow at Sacred Heart Hall in Suffield, CT. Interment in West Suffield Cemetery.
