Obituary for Joanne Dufresne (Drumm)

Joanne S. Dufresne, 66, of West Suffield, passed away on November 30, 2014. Born in Windsor, on February 9, 1948, daughter of the late Floyd and Josephine (Mazonas) Drumm. Joanne lived in Suffield for over 35 years, and was employed by the Town of Suffield for over 20 years, first in the Assessor’s office, then for the Water Pollution Control Authority. She was one the first Women to Volunteer on the Suffield Volunteer Fire Department. Joanne worked at Allied Rehabilitation Center until her retirement in 2013.
She is survived by her daughter Tanya Fierro and her husband Gabriel Fierro of Windsor Locks; two granddaughters Victoria Lang and Gianna Fierro. A very special friend Melissa Giambra of Enfield and her companion Robert Davis of Enfield. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a brother Robert Drumm. The Graveside Service will be on Saturday, December 13, at 10AM in the Elmwood Cemetery, East Granby. Heritage Funeral Home, 1240 Mountain Road, West Suffield has care of the arrangements.
