Condolence: I knew Chris from Suffield High School, when we first moved to the Russell Ave area. I was new and nervous about meeting new people, especially as a young teenager, but Chris was warm and friendly, and I always SO appreciated her kindness and humor. I met her again years later on my return to Suffield after years away, and enjoyed her ever-present warmth and kindness once again. Surely our visits to Suffield Pizza will not be the same. She will be missed. After losing my son, and more recently, my mother, I well know the pain of loss. The Bible's promise of a resurrection has been an amazing comfort of our family (Acts 24:15/John 5:28-29 / Luke 7:11-15 / Revelation 21:4 /1 Corinthians 15:26)(Matthew 5:5/Psalm 37:11&29 / John 3:16). I hope these promises will comfort you as well.

Condolence: To all of the Young family,
You have my heartfelt sympathy on the passing of Chris. Kim and I saw her not too long ago and she was as gracious as always. We joked about slides down the fire pole in the old center of Suffield at the fire station and talked about her Dad and Dalmatian, Lady. I am grateful to have such warm memories and that she was a part of them.
May your happy memories give you comfort in remembering the wonderful lady she grew up to be.....

Your mom was one of the best people i've ever met! She always put up with all our bologna and was such a sweet heart to my kids. Going to Suffield Pizza won't be the same without her telling me to order a drink and not a soda. Please don't ever hesitate to call us for anything and remember our door is always open for you both. Condolence: It has been many years since I last saw Chris. I knew her only as a teenager when I first met her and for 5-6 years after. As the girlfriend of her brother, Robert, I was welcomed into the home of Floyd and Lena and shared some time with Chris who was her tall, lanky, not yet mature self. Robert and I married, later parted ways, lost touch and then reconnected years later, older and wiser people. We have been friends since then and I get updates on his family whenever we get together. It was sad to hear of her sudden passing. Having lost my own younger sister nearly three years ago in similar circumstances, my heart just breaks for her family left behind. My condolences to them all.
