Antonetta “Toni” (Antonacci) Gibson, 98, of Suffield, wife of the late Charles Gibson, passed away peacefully on April 5, 2014. She was born in Windsor Locks on October 10, 1915, daughter of the late Tony and Maria (Borracci) Antonacci and lived in Suffield most all her life.

Antonetta was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church. She enjoyed skiing, painting, her second home in Vermont, and most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by one sister Rose Jones of WV and Scottsdale, AZ; and two sister-in-laws Kitty Antonacci and Jane Traska; many nieces and nephews; and her dear friend Adele.
Besides her husband Charles, she was predeceased by her four brothers Frank, Raymond, Silvio, and Joseph Antonacci; and three sisters Anne Mandirola, Angeline Smith, and Margaret Hancock.

Funeral Services will be Thursday, April 10, at 9AM from the Heritage Funeral Home 1240 Mountain Road, West Suffield, with a Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Church in Suffield at 10AM. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Suffield. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 9, from 5-7PM.
