Obituary for Joanne Hysler (Mead)

Joanne Mead Hysler, age 62, of West Suffield, passed away on Wed. March 5, 2014 at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford. Joanne was born in Brooklyn, NY, on February 5th, 1952, to Dorothy Mead and the late William Mead. She was employed at Konica Minolta in Windsor for 15 years. Joanne enjoyed shopping with her daughter, listening to her favorite music and most of all spending time with her large family. Joanne is survived by her husband of 44 years Michael D. Hysler, her Mother Dorothy Mead of Granby, a daughter Tracy A. Hespelt and husband Robert of West Suffield, three grand children Megan Elise Hysler, Erin Margaret Hespelt, Ailison Janice Hespelt, two brothers Dennis Mead and wife Sabina of Cape Coral, FL, William Mead of East Windsor, CT, four sisters Mary Furst and husband Thomas, of Oakdale, NY, Dianne Rafferty and husband Rick of Sebring, FL, Marnie Trivette and husband Gale of Todd, NC, and Bernadette Kraich of Miami, FL. Several nieces and nephews also survive. She was predeceased by a brother, Thomas Patrick Mead. Friends may call at the Heritage Funeral Home, 1240 Mountain Rd., West Suffield, on Sunday March 9, from 2:00 - 4:00 PM. Funeral services and interment will be private.
