Obituary for Debra Fearon Winter

Debra Fearon Winter, 62, of Suffield, died February 18, 2014. Debra was born in Hartford on November 17, 1951. The daughter of Bernard and Jean Fearon and lived in Granby for many years. Debra was a graduate of Windsor Locks High School and received her bachelors degree in accounting from the University of Connecticut. Debra was a talented musician and played the flute. She also enjoyed spending time with her children and grandson. She was employed by the State of Connecticut as a financial analyst for many years and retired in 2010. Debra is survived by her former husband Brian Winter of Suffield, a son Steven Winter of East Granby, a daughter Emily Winter of Suffield, a brother Mark Fearon of Windsor, a sister Mora Geoffrion of Agawam, MA, her beloved grandson Liam, dog Maxine and many nieces and nephews. The funeral services will be at the convenience of the family. The Heritage Funeral Home has care of the services. In lieu of flowers donations may be to the Hartford animal shelter Simon Foundation: 120 Rescue Lane. Bloomfield CT, 06002.
