Edward Zalewski Jr., 65, of Suffield, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2013. Ed was born September 6, 1947 in Springfield, MA; the son of the late Edward Zalewski Sr. and Stacia (Phillips) Zalewski and lived in Suffield all of his life. Ed was employed at Bakers Nursery in Suffield for over 20 years, and for his outstanding performance was honored with an all-expense paid vacation for two, to Disney World. Ed was an avid reader, and NY Yankee fan. Besides his mother Stacia, he is survived by an aunt Agnes Wosko; and an uncle Michael Phillips; and many cousins. The funeral services will be Friday, May 24, 2013 at 9AM from The Heritage Funeral Home 1240 Mountain Road, West Suffield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM at St. Joseph Church, Suffield. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Suffield. Friends may call at The Heritage Funeral Home on Thursday, May 23, from 4-7PM. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph Church, 140 South Main Street, Suffield.
