Obituary for Mitchell Gogulski

Mitchell Gogulski, 62, passed away on December 24, 2011 in the comfort of his home with his family by his side. A devoted father, proud Vietnam Veteran and a friend to many, he will be sadly missed. Son of the late Clemens and Agnes (Baltronis) Gogulski, Mitch lived in West Suffield most of his adult life. Mitch served in the United States Army from 1968 to 1970. He was employed with Galasso Materials for over 10 years and had recently retired this past September. He was a member of the Teamsters Local 559 and the Suffield VFW Sic Post 9544 for many years. Mitch was known for always being ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Besides Francene Gogulski, he is survived by a son Eric Gogulski and his companion Sandi Stewart of Nashville, TN; a daughter Lisa Gogulski and her companion John Markowski of West Suffield; two grandchildren Hannah and Samantha Markowski, his father in-law Michael Trippodo of Enfield, and the Dieni and Trippodo family. He will also be leaving behind his two rescued companion dogs ‘Daisy’ and ‘Hunter’. He was predeceased by a special brother Joseph Gogulski. Funeral services will be Thursday, December 29, 2011 at The Heritage Funeral Home 1240 Mountain Road West Suffield, at 10 AM. Friends may call to the funeral home on Wednesday December 28 from 4-7 PM. Burial will be at the at the convenience of the family with full military honors. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Disabled American Veterans PO Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301. Att: Gift Processing.
