Frances G. Colson, 73, of West Suffield, Wife of the late John Colson, died on December 22, 2011. She was born on August 26, 1938 in Westfield, daughter of the late Henry and Jean (Segz Dowicz) Mercer. Frances enjoyed gardening and baking bread. She is survived by a daughter Carol (Colson) Salzarulo, and two grandsons Shawn Colson and Brandon Barber and a great granddaughter Savannah J. Colson. Frances was predeceased by her husband, John and their daughter Susan J. Colson. Funeral Services will be Friday, December 30, 2011 at The Heritage Funeral Home 1240 Mountain Road, West Suffield, at 10 AM. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Westfield, MA. Friends may call to the funeral home on Thursday, December 29, from 5-7 PM.
